DH and I had a great (but short) trip. Arrived Sunday 10-19 at 3:30 pm, got into our room at 4pm. Checked out Wednesday morning 10-22.
Spent a whopping total of 28.5 hours in our studio (room 5510) for the 3 days.
I can see why the OKW crowd loves it there. Beautiful lush landscaping, friendly folks and peaceful setting. We had our own car and didn't mind being in the back of the resort, it was quiet for sleeping. We never made it to the pool or laundry but they were right there next to our room if we had gone.
We loved Olivias for breakfast ( it was the only time of day we were around). We had the best, sweetest server we have ever had in all our many trips to WDW, Devonne. I made sure the manager knew how wonderful she was! She gave me a hug goodbye on our last morning there....... it felt like leaving a good friend!
The food was excellent and the coffee seemed better there too.
Rode Mission space 9 times (loved it!) and saw Mickey's Philharmagic at MNSSHP. Had our photos taken many many times by other guests and told how real Dh's outfit looked (Jack Sparrow)
Ate tons of good stuff at the F&W fest but had a really bad experience at the Rose & Crown.
At the studios I was in the #1 spot for the hot seat at Millionaire for the first time, but just the game was over!!!!!! It Figures..........
Jellyrolls was great as always.....it does get wild on Tuesday nights ( cm night).
NS studio room was fine except for dirty coffee mugs in the cabinet (yuck)
so I washed them all before using.
I enjoyed resort channel 19 as much as I could and consoled myself on departure by booking a stay for May 04 at BWV before I left the OKW :hyper:

Thanks for the report. Glad you enjoyed it. My wife cringes when we get into our room because I make a bee line to the TV and turn on either the DVC channel, DCL channel or the resort channel.

Glad to hear you had a good first trip "home".

Glad you enjoyed your trip and your DVC accommodations. Thanks for posting! :)

Thanks for the nice trip report. Glad to hear you had a good (if short) trip.
