How was the warming hut and where is it located at BB? I haven't found a BB or TL map with CS restaurants listed. Thanks.

How was Whispering Canyon? I got back frommy first ever trip in March, and WC was one of the places I wanted to go but didn't make it. The food looks really good from everyone's pictures here, but I've also read the waitstaff is a little in-your-face and over the top. Since I don't have any kids to enjoy the chaos, I'm afraid my DBF would just get annoyed by the whole environment. Did you go with kids and what did you think? Thanks for answering! I'm glad you enjoyed your trip!!

Not the OP, but I went to WCC in June and didn't care for it. I thought the atmosphere was very toned down and boring. The food was ok, but it really wasn't anything wonderful. Probably our least favorite of all of our meals. (Which was really disappointing, b/c it was our last night & I wanted it to be special.)

hi!!!!
I am not very computer savvy, but I will try to just respond to all these questions at once...

Pop was awesome. I am a pop culturis by nature. When my northern cali friends go to Maui I would just as soon go to the mall of america. It is huge, but not overtly overwhelming. The theming, the gian set pieces, fantastic. Good food court, amazing transportation system, never waited more than ten for a bus. Pop is on it"s own bus line so it is ultra quick. There is nothing subtle about it, but it is a thoroughly lovely hotel. The staff was super helpful.

The warming hut is on a walkway between the wave pool and the chaotic hectic river, It is your basic fare..hot dog, hamburgers, nachos. After a couple of hours of water activity, old shoes are edible,,,but this was better than old shoes...definitely.

I loved Whispering Canyon...here is piece of my restaurant review

WHISPERING CANYON LODGE. More like YELLING COWBOY PLACE. If you are not shy, and like meat, this is the place. Crazy CMs, people yelling for ketchup, large skillets of meat. We are Barbeque people, and the pork is amazing. Sure, there are men singing songs about buttercups, and pony races...but the food was awesome, and the desserts, some sort of chocolate decadence bomb thing, and a bread pudding extravaganza are fantastic...and the Wilderness Lodge is great!!!!

finally, what would I do again, etc. I love most things. I road all the big rides with my son, would do that again...The two things attraction-wise that I didn"t like were Narnia(they basically show you the trailer) and The Tiki Room under new management. I am a disneyland guy, and have two tiki bars in my house. I felt somewhat violated by Gilbert Gottfried singing hot hot hot.

I would a lot again...as far as the restaurants...Raglan Road and Marrekesh were at the top of my list for food, and everything else for evironment. I wouldn"t need to go to wolfgang puck again...

What didn"t I do? Dinoland, a lot of animal kingdom. We didn"t do any fireworks or late night things. We wanted to keep our amazing son amazing.
Didn"t do Mission Space
Small World
I can these all someday.

I could write all day. My detailed stuff is in the dining review section, day by day....you might all like it.

Same exact thing here!!! It was our last night, and we thought it would be nice to eat somewhere we hadn't been to before (bad choice). The food was not very good and most of the stuff going on seemed more appealing to a family with little kids than it was for us (two adults and two teenagers). We really should have looked more into WCC before we went to go for a last night. :sad2:

Anywho, OP, I was wondering if you had, by any chance, tried the mini-golf at Blizzard Beach. I noticed you mentioned you ate there, and was wondering if you tried this. We think we migt try it this summer, but aren't sure how it is. :confused3

Thanks :thumbsup2
