Back from HIFS!

We just returned from our first trip to WDW. We stayed the first 1/2 of our vacation at HIFS and the second 1/2 at The Poly (posted on the other board about our experience there).

We had the $109 Florida Lottery Rate, which included breakfast and dinner buffets for all of us.

The hotel was GREAT! The rooms were clean, and plenty of room for the 4 of us. The pool was wonderful (though our older DD wished it had a slide). The buffets were good, nothing special, just average buffet. We liked the fact that they offered a lot of other activities too. Nightly kids shows, bingo (which we didn't get a chance to do), face painting, etc.

We will definitely return!!!

Did you have any problems finding the lottery ticket that you need to present to get that rate?

I read a thread a few weeks ago where some people were having problems locating the correct tickets.

A helpful person on this forum posted about having an extra losing ticket and offered to send it to anyone who needed it, so I was able to get one that way.

However, we didn't need it. They never asked for it or even mentioned it.

I may still have the ticket (not sure if DH kept it or threw it away when we left?) if you need one and I still have it, I'd be happy to mail it to you.

If you still have that ticket, I'd love to get it from you. I will send you a PM with my address. I know if I show up without one that they'll ask me for it, so I'd rather not chance it if I don't have to.
