got back wednesday Nov 7 from HH. Had beautiful weather, sunny with highs in mid 60s, lows in 40s. It was our first visit, and we were impressed at the beauty of the marsh/bayou area behind the resort. It was very picturesque. They were doing some pathway resurfacing while we were there. We stayed in a 1BR unit that was very clean and looked new. The units are bigger than at BWV, or so it seems. the terraces have two rocking chairs and a picnic table, so we ate our meals mostly on the terrace, which when combined with the nice weather, was very enjoyable. we played plenty of horseshoes and shuffleboard, and our 2 year old enjoyed the playground.
The resort is close to some other non disney developments, which I did not care for, but the resort itself is very picturesque. The pool area is extremely well lit at night, almost like it is daytime. We did not use the beach house much, as it was pretty windy, too chilly to lie out by the beach. the ride to the beach house is through a nice development, and we rented bikes and explored. Over all, very relaxing, family oriented time. I think we will return. (but to VB first in may!)
