Back from Hawaii. DD without her bag though!

Had an amazing time. The Westin Moana Surfrider was stunning, as was the condo in Maui. The ocean view was so close we were almost in the ocean LOL! The Hilton was good but very very crowded.
We saw some fantastic shows, and ate far too much. Dieting yet again I fear! This was a family reunion for us as DS and fiancee flew over and joined us from Vancouver where they now live. I snorkelled for the first time, we took a seaplane tour, and saw turtles, dolphins and John and Tam went diving in a cage to see sharks! I wimped out of that one!!!!!!
The travelling was long and boy am I jet lagged. Sadly poor old DD Bec is now without any clothes or make up as Virgin have lost her bag and first of all it was supposed to be sent over yesterday, and then today, and now they don't know when. Of course the department dealing with it is in India, and in reality have no idea what is going on! Shame that this has spoilt the ending a bit.

It sounds like you have had a fabulous time, I sorry to hear about DD's bag, looking at it from a different angle it would have been much worse if they had lost it on the way out - lets hope it turns up.

Thanks everyone. I will try to post some piccies later, but not too good on the tech front. An update on the bag. It arrived and was sent to DD yesterday, so she is now happy again.

Glad you enjoyed your trip. Good luck with the missing bag - it sounds hopeful, if they are advising you a dates for delivery, atleast they seem to know your bag exists! Be grateful it was on the way back (altho I hope there were no souveniers in it). In 2006 I checked my bag onto a flight to Spain and have never seen it since. Bit of a nightmare as I was with my DH and 2 DS, so noone to clothes share with. Photos of me a bit monotonous, as only bought a couple of shorts & T-shirts out there. On the bright side, once the insurance claim is settled, there is all that replacement shopping to be done - great time of year for it too!
Hope it turns up soon.
