Back from first DVC Stay! VWL Picture Link Added!

Just returned from VWL! LOVE DVC!

We had a 2BR Dedicated, fifth floor, lake view. Really loved the unit, and loved the vaulted ceiling in the master bedroom! The villa was very clean, and in pretty good shape. All the space was awesome! It'll be hard to ever stay in a hotel room again!

After visiting the BoardWalk, we are so happy about our purchase there. It's exactly what we like - in the middle of the action. VWL was so quiet, very peaceful, but it was almost too quiet, sitting on our balcony we never saw anyone else out. Hardly anyone around the resort, but they said it was pretty full.

Thanks for the report. Glad you enjoyed VWL....and that pic made me a bit homesick (and a shade of green that matched the roof!!).

And we own at both BWV and VWL ....they couldn't be more different in theming, decor, location and general atmosphere. I guess we're weird, but we love them both!!

I guess we're DVC bigamists!!

We really did love VWL, I can't wait to stay there again. But, I'm really really anxious to stay at BWV - we'll be there this summer, and I'm really looking forward to it.

CaliforniaD, I am soooooo happy to hear that you are happy with DVC. You are such a GF fan I wasn't sure if you'd "get" the villa lifestyle and might be disappointed. I'm sure you'll go nuts when you stay at BWV. And now you know that you really can't go wrong with any DVC resort.

I'm going back and forth about whether or not to stay at the GF before our BWV stay, or try a new resort (either the YC or AKL). I think the GF is still my favorite, but I do love the DVC's as well.

Hi california dreaming I will be at VWL feb. 10th and I requested the 5th floor because I wanted the vaulted ceilings but is it just in the MB i thought they were in the the whole unit?
P.S Are tou anywhere near me in the N.E?

It was just the master that was vaulted. (BTW, we're a bit south of you)

Great pics! You did a very nice job capturing the exterior, as usually pictures do not do the exterior justice. My favorite shot has always been your first picture, the one looking at the Villas through the entrance to Hidden Springs Pool.
