We (dh, me in our late 30's and our kiddo who is nine) arrived backhome just as Charley was blew in.
CSR - Stayed here from Sat-Mon. This was our first stay here and we really liked it. We were in 9A which was perfect for both the Dig Site pool and the main area. It was a smoking optional room which they offered when we checked in very early on Saturday morning (it was they had). We took it but sure enough it reeked. Not a big deal for the weekend and we were glad to get in. The room was in great shape. Bus transportation was really good. We ate once at the Pepper Market and weren't that impressed. It was pricey for what we got and the food was only so-so (and we ordered Mexican food). But we'd stay again.
BWV (mon- Fri) - This was our first stay on DVC points and wow! We loved everything about the BWV. We had a studio facing the clown pool which was cool. We loved the Community Hall activities and Community Hall in general. Bus transportation was good - we shared with the S/D. Epcot was a nice walk although we usually took the boat. Our kiddo really liked the entertainment on the Boardwalk at night. I can remember years ago when wewere just starting out looking at the people sitting on those chairs on the Boardwalk porch and just wishing we could do that one day. Now we have ... and it was worth the wait.
Our next trips are a short one in November to POR and then our first Christmas onsite, splitting between DVC properties...
