I've read a lot of varied opinions/experiences concerning Downtown Disney's Courtyard by Marriott. What that in mind, I was a bit nervous before our trip last week. However, we were more than pleasantly surprised with our accomodations.
We were on the fifth floor of the tower. We could see the fireworks at DTD from our balcony (The worthiness of the fireworks is a different matter!).
We were walking distance to DTD, restaurants, Goodings Grocery, putt-putt golf. We loved the location.
DH and I love a balcony on vacation, but usually cringe at the thought of the danger involving small children. The balcony was great for this. Rather than being a railing, there was a concrete wall that came about chest-high on me. As long as there's no chairs on the balcony (none were provided), all's okay!
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
DD10 & DD3 loved the pool area.
DD3 wants to go to "our pretty hotel".
We got the $39 night rate & for what we got - you can't beat it!
