We had a great stay except a little fiasco with housekeeping.

Yes this is not something I was prepared for on my 29th stay at Disney, having some kind of bleech solution somewhat sprinkled on my clothes. At first we thought the ceiling had a leak because my clothes were on the top shelf in the vanity area but that wasn't it. So we figured out that the way the bleech dots were our housekeeping person must have flung a rag full of solution and it went all over my clothes and dripped down onto my suitcase and the clothes I had worn the night before that were on top of it.We had some other interesting observations about housekeeping but nothing compared to that so I'll just let it go.

But, we were in Trinidad in a preferred room right next to the quiet pool that was very warm we loved it. We rented a car and parking was so close we never used our handicapped plackard. Just to give you some reference our last stays were at the BWI deluxe concierge at X-mas and POP for spring break. This room blew POP away in my opinion the storage was great and you can't beat a 2 sink vanity. I liked the vanity with the shelf underneath and the curtain that BWI doesn't have. Even the nightstand was big enough with the shelf that I could get all my son's medical equipment on it.

We used Gardengrocer and our delivery was waiting when we got there but I did have to ask for it. I will definately be using them again what a convienence!

The food court was OK for the amount that we used it. I thought POP's had a much better selection and the seating with the TV's is nice at POP.

On a side note and I'll post this on the dining noard, although I had ressies at what I thought were enough restaurants plans can always change. If we were at a restaurant and they told us they were full for the evening we had some luck calling WDW-Dine and still getting in. The CM's in dining were very helpful always finding us something as we were not on the dining plan.

I guess everyone knows that the pool is being expanded, but I heard that there will be 2 rather large whirlpools that sounded really nice.

I prefer the themeing at CBR and it did not dissapoint once again. The grounds are just beautiful.

Any questions feel free to ask:)

Hi sorry about your clothes. We're going to cbr for the 1st time 12/1-12/10 we have always stayed at POR, significant diff?

We have stayed at POR during the holiday season and at first I wasn't crazy about it but we started ending our nights listening to Bob Jackson and that was alot of fun. CBR doesn't have anything llike that.

But, I myself notice the larger room at CBR and again the storage at CBR was really good. Siginficant difference not at all except for the great tropical themeing, and being from the Chicago area we really like that.

Everyone comments on the size of CBR but we were all the way in the last building of AB so our room at CBR was a little more convienent.

We had the towel animals, they left a card and balloons for my son's birthday and put it up on the light above the bed with his Stich holding, it very cute!

Something that is definately worth mentioning is that we had extra charges on our bill the last day for valet parking($40) and we have the DDE card that gives us free valet. Also, housekeeping was to credit our account $275 for the bleech on the clothes ( I wasn't letting this go after spending my vacation time straightening it out) and that wasn't on there. With about 30 minutes before we needed to leave we had it all straightened out and picked up the new bill on the way out. We were very happy they took care of it ASAP.

Have a GREAT trip!!
