It was AWESOME!!! It was our first trip home since becoming members and buying BWV site unseen. Couldn't be happier. It was me, DH, DD 5, DS 3 and my parents. Had a 2 bedroom Boardwalk view in Room 2017 and whatever the studio # was that connected to it.
Not close to the elevators but perfect since it was only on the second floor and just steps away from a staircase to the main pool and only a hall length away from the stairs to the BW.
Noise was only a teeny bit bothersome one night but the view was well worth it.
Heard a few Welcome Home's and there was an extremely pleasant man who seemed to be a manager of some sort in the lobby that we saw a few times - sorry did not catch his name but he was very personable and keep registration moving.
No complaints about the room at all - very minor wear in some things like the sofa. Everything that we used/saw was in good working order.
Pool water was chilly our first day of April 29 but the weather was a tad cooler that day too. Everyday after was perfect water temps and one afternoon we caught some kids activities at the Main pool and a DJ - lot of fun! They were working on painting the playground while we were there so couldn't use it but it was looking good refreshed.
The Keister slide was fun but burned my bottom going down on the seams of the slide - no one else complained and it was fine laying down so maybe it was me being a bit bottom heavy - darn that dining plan!
Love the Boardwalk atmosphere - saw some great entertaining acts in the evenings and really enjoyed it.
Did an Illuminaitons Cruise with some family who were visiting since they did not have park passes and that was nice.
Crowd levels were pretty good - pretty much followed a plan and took a break in the afternoons - love that convienence. Did not use Disney transportation except boat to MGM and Epcot. Also walked both - very easy and a huge plus in convienence. Drove own car to MGM and AK. Love the valet parking and the staff was great.
Sorry to be back but looking forward to the next trip already - what an addiction!
Let me know any questions.
