All Star Movies Love Bug Building #7 Room 7858 Second Floor

We arrived at ASMo about a hour after arriving at the airport (MCO) 11am using Magical express.

See Me review http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=10103119#post10103119

We waited about 5 min in line to check in. Our room was not ready so we were given our keys to the world and off to MGM we want! :cool1:
ASMo holed our luggage and it was delivered to our room. We loved this!
What a great thing!
The grounds are so nice and clean ......so DISNEY!!!!!
I thought the buildings were close, and that the distant to walk to each or to the food court was fine. Not as bad as some DISERS say it is.

POOL
We only used the fantasia pool once at night, but the kids had a good time and it is kept very clean. HINT: BRING A POOL TOY

MOUSEKEEPING:
Everyday we were given Mickey soap and shampoo. :goodvibes Extra towels when we asked for them. Only one night did we get the feeling that the room was not clean well. The beds were not made well and dirty towels were not taken.

Also, one night we came back to found a big bag of trash left outside between the two room doors. I just pushed the complaint button on the phone and left a message by the next night the trash was gone.

DISNEY RESORT TRANSPORTATION
We found that whatever park bus you are NOT waiting for.... that bus will have a million come and go!
We had a long wait on Sept. 24th for MK and were late for our PS at CRT.We even gave ourselves 45 mins. to get to the park.
So much for that magical walk down main street...had to run down!
We were still seated right away though...

FOOD COURT
We had the dinning plan:great would pay for next time!

What a MAD HOUSE the food court is...
We only ate our breakfast here and picked up pizza one night, but boy is this place crazy. The food is good, and you get alot. Wish I took a DISERs advice on here and not use a counter service for my DD. The adult meals are large and would have been enough for her and me to share.
The adult pancake meals come with five pancakes!!!!!!
Share if with a child or order a childs meal! I order a child meal one day and it was plenty.
Counter service meals are as is they dont know the difference between a child meal and an a adult meal...it is just a counter service meal.
Many times DD ate a adult menu counter item!

Overall we loved staying onsite at all star movies and would stay here again.
CM's were all nice and it was a fun place to stay!

Our Photo Pass photos:HINT:Dont loss your photo pass card or let the Cm forget to give it back to you like we did.

I stayed at ASMO in May and really enjoyed it. I found the rooms to be fine and I had 2 babies in cribs. I wouldn't hestitate to stay there again.

We stayed at ASMo in March and we liked it enough to go back next month for MNSSHP. I thought your bus comment was funny - we had just the opposite experience in March - whatever line we got in, that was the very next bus that came in.

Every time we got in the MK bus line two or three epcot buses would come and no one would be in line for epcot. If we were in a epcot line a bus for Mk would come. It was like they were playing tricks on us.
Everyone in line laughed about it.

We were in room 5820 in the Fantasia Sorcerors Hat Building at the same time. The first day that we were supposed to get room service they just left a bag of towels on our door:( After that we got a clean room everytime. We were next to the elevators and ice machine and all we had to do was go down to the first floor (we were on the 2nd floor) and go under the sorcerors hat and there we were at the pool. I agree about the food courts, its a little crazy. We ended up eating breakfast there instead of lunch. I also agree everything is so close by to everything! We've made reservations already to AsMovies for next August. We requested Toy Story connecting rooms. So hopefully we'll get that. It's just as close to the pools and food court.

We ended up renting a car so we didn't have to deal with Disney Transportation. I didn't decide to actually rent the car until a couple of days before, but I'm glad we did. We ended up using D Transport to go to the Wilderness Lodge and ended up staying 45 minutes longer than we needed to go get back to magic Kingdom. After that, I was soooooo glad I rented a car. LOL, I'm just one of those impatient people...if there is fun to be had and I don't want to wait for it :rotfl2:
