I love disney days when it rains. It tends to scare away the crowds and makes ride time managable. I am sorry your in-laws were such a pain. We tend to travel with our small three person family. Our daughter keeps wanting to invite the cousins, aunts and uncles but I foresee a lot of stress if we include the relatives. Maybe we will try someday but if so I think we will spring for studios for all - and not connecting studios (if there is such a thing).
