Any questions? The trip went a lot better than we ever expected. Our ds did get sick one day. We think that it was related to the in and out of air conditioned buildings and the heat and humidity.

hear all the details. Especially the sick part...yikes!!!

My dh and I are planning on taking our twins (will be 14 months) in October and I'm petrified of germs (they were preemies). Were the lines "too close for comfort?" Did you find it easy getting around the parks? What rides did you go on? More specifically, did you take your baby on Pirates? This is one of our favorites and I'm curious how your child did with the hill. I know this is silly.

Aren't you glad you offered information pertaining to your trip? :) :) Anything you can offer will help TREMENDOUSLY. :)

Ok, here goes... Keep in mind that my 14 mo ds is not really scared of strangers and flirts with like every blonde-woman he sees....

Day 1 - MK
Small World twice (his fav ride)
Snow White
Peter Pan
Haunted Mansion (he played "peek" with the popping heads)
Crystal Palace for late lunch - Not scared one bit by the characters.

Day 2 - EPCOT (he slept most of the day - dw and I explored FW)
Spaceship Earth
JIYI
HISTA
El Rio de Tiempo

Day 3 - MGM
Playhouse Disney (the main reason that we went)
Beauty and the Beast
(this is the night that he got sick. He were going in and out of all of the shops. He was drinking plenty of water, but I think he got a mild case of heat exhaustion).

Day 4 - AK, MK, EPCOT
Lion King
Tree of Life Paths (he loves animals, we have an annual pass to our local zoo)
POC
Small World twice (did I mention that he liked this?)
Illuminations.

What we learned:
1. He loves the characters. They did not scare him this trip. They did not scare him back in Oct 2002 either at 7 mo.
2. He was fine with any ride / attraction that we felt comfortable having him ride.
3. He was a little young to pay attention in the heat to the stage shows. In August, we are taking him to see the Wiggles live in St. Paul, MN. He loves the Wiggles!!!!

Hope that helps...

Edward

Good to hear you had such a great trip. We will be taking our then-16 mo old DD next Feb and I've been wondering about the rides. Our DS 9 and DS 10 will want to ride just about everything, and I'm hoping not to have to sit out all the rides! It's nice to hear your son had no problems with them.

we've booked our trip, but we're waiting to hear back from the pediatrician. We're not sure (given my childrens' first three months) if we should be taking them there so early. It's the start of RSV season.

I've been waivering back and forth over the weekend...:(, BUT their health is the most important thing - Disney isn't going anywhere. :)

Thanks again
