We and my closest 17 relatives took a 3 day trip to Disneyland. We took four cars and all met up at Disney Hotel. My nieces from Canada stayed at the Disney Hotel, my sister, brother-in-law and my daughter with her kids stayed at HoJo's. I had a Kid's suite for all the kids, my sister and her husband just a regular room. I got the entertainer rate so it was a great price. I picked Hojo's because of all the great things people have said. The staff was wonderful and very very helpful. I also picked it because of the pool. We never got to use the pool, there was no time. We used the jacuzzi the first night, along with at least 15 adults, (most sitting on the side) and a good 7 to 8 kids swimming around. Almost all the adults were drinking and many out of glass bottles. They all seemed really nice, but if I hadn't been so sore from walking all day, and my daughter hadn't wanted to go so badly no way would I have got in that water.

The first day, (Wednesday) was fabulous. Weather was perfect, sun, but cool. It wasn't crowded at all and we had only 5 to 10 minutes wait for all rides. The longest wait was Peter Pan, 20 minutes. Somehow we managed to stay together most of the day. We had to leave around 4:30 to make our reservation at the Rain forest Café. They were ready for us, we sat upstairs and the service and the food was great.

We all headed either back to Disney, or to our respective Hotels. Next morning we all met up for CA. No wait for Soarin' and we went on that over and over.

They are doing so much renovation it must have been a disappointment to my Canadian cousins. I was O.K. with it as I can come back over and over. They all headed over to Tower of Terror right after soarin'. A few liked it, the rest seem to be scarred for life. My 35 year old daughter was actually nauseous the rest of the day.

A few of us had lunch at Ariel's Grotto to see the princesses. They have upgraded the food which is fine for the adults, but I think the kid's menu is too fancy for little ones. Also the desserts. They looked very pretty like at a fancy tea, but our little ones didn't really recognize what they were and weren't too sure. They loved the appetizers though, (jello, carrot sticks, etc.).

We stayed at CA until closing and staggered to the shuttle parking. The ART was there and waiting. It makes 3 stops before Hojo's but it was quick and a lifesaver. I will use it again for sure. I walked over in the morning but was too tired that evening.

We had dinner at Mimi's. O.K. but nothing great. Better than Denny's though. We hit the sack and we were out. The next morning my nieces and cousin headed back to Disney and stayed for the fireworks. My sister and brother-in-law And I went back to San Diego to recover. We are all in our 60's and were tired. They loved the fireworks and had a wonderful experience.

It was a great trip but next time for me, one park, one day.

Sounds like you had a great trip, I'm so jealous I don't think we'll make it back this year but I sure am gonna try!!!!!
