And here's where we ate.
The cast: myself, my dh, dd (12), dd (10) and ds(8)
Donald's Breakfastasaurus--Great food and fun interaction with the characters. My kids especially like the chocolate chip pancakes.
Askerhus (Lunch)--We all had fun trying the different main dishes as well as the salads on the cold buffet. My husband's favorite was the salmon, and I liked the trout. My dd (12) liked the beef the best. My younger two (10 and 8) thought it was the best chocolate milk they had every had. All three kids enjoyed the paint your own troll cookies, and dh and I shared the berry desert. It was fabulous!
Mitsukoski Teppanyaki (dinner)--This was just a fun restaurant. The chef entertained my kids thoroughly. They especially liked the onion volcano he made. Younger two ordered the chicken and said it was good. Older dd had chicken and shrimp she loved it. I had steak and shrimp-- very tasty! Hubby had steak and chicken and said it was good too.
Chef Mickey (breakfast)--Highlight for my kids was the Mickey waffles. The food here was very good also. We especially liked the cheesy potatoes.
Trail's End Buffet--We didn't really eat here, just got a carry out meal one night. My hubby and older daughter went and got three kids' buffets and filled containers with chicken and biscuits. We had a good supper back at the cabin.
50's Prime Time Cafe--One of our favorites so we eat here every time. The chicken and roast beef are our favorites here.
Crystal Palace (lunch)--The buffet was very tasty. It's nice to have a kid's buffet with chicken fingers, mac and cheese and pizza even though my kids aren't picky. The seafood salad here is good.
Le Celier Steakhouse (late lunch)-- We all had cheese soup with bread sticks, and steaks. It was delicous. We only had two pretzel breadsticks (found out later we could have gotten more) so we shared. Any of the breadsticks were yummy dipped in the soup. The steaks were so tender they almost melted in your mouth. It has a fun atmosphere also.
Hollywood and Vine (for Fantasmic Dinner Package)--Lots of variety of food. The chef even cooked pasta and cheese especially for my kids (this is a favorite of their's and not on the kid buffet here). I liked the roast beef and the root beer sweet potatoes the best.
We also did the Meal deal package at Animal Kingdom. We ate at Tusker House. Good food and a good deal.
We had a turkey leg one afternoon and a dole whip another (which dd (10) got hers for free as it was her birthday.)
