Hi
We had a lovely trip to DLH for 3 nights, tues to fri. Unfortunately it spoiled a wee bit by Easyjet cancelling our flight home on Friday due to snow, although at that point there were blue skies in Edinburgh and Paris. Anyway paid to get on a Flybe flight and got home about 6hours later and a good few hundred pounds lighter.
Highs:
DLH - so great to be so close. It was lovely and although the rooms were not that different to HNY the atmosphere was different.
Christmas Parades - they were wonderful
Everything really.
Short Queues for the rides - 15 min max for small world and pinocchio.
Lows:
Stress of flight being cancelled while on the way to airport.
DS not wanting anything what so ever to do with the characters.
All in all it was great but don't think I would travel in December again.
