We got back on Monday morning, I am already suffering from Disney withdrawl

I agree, planning is the ONLY cure to the post-vacation blues!
Last year we went to Puerto Vallarta in June; by the end of July we had already booked a trip to Cancun for November! By mid-December we had already booked our upcoming Disney cruise ;-)

I just got back Monday too and can't wait to go back. Already looking for flight deals.

I always knew I was not the only one using that cure, so now can you tell my husband that it's the only way please!!!:rotfl2:

We got back from Disneyland last July and started booking our WDW vacation right away.. I did it to get over the Disney Blues.. they can get really bad. Everything is so happy and wonderful at Disney and then you come home to normal life. So I would agree that planning another trip does really help.

I know that feeling well!
I find it especially bad in this weather. It is non stop Disney and Universal commercials on tv right now, so they must know Canadians have the winter blues;).

Oh the planning of another trip to beat the blues. Someone asked me the other day when I was rambling about our trip to Florida in March, (this person is coming with us in a group of 34 for March Break) and was saying about summer vacay, and then about going to a wedding in Mexico and if we did that, it would make our summer vacay smaller, she stopped and said, " do you ever stop planning vacations?" I said, Heck NO, the world is big, and I am small, I need to GO places. Life is short, live it. So I am planning 2 trips ahead and am leaving to go back to Orlando March 9th and just returned on Dec 28th. I am working just to pay for vacations. Alas, thankfully my husband, who never travelled, (first trip was 9 years ago, to Florida and it was once in a lifetime!) we have been 10 times, is very easy to twist his arm for vacations. It's all in the presentation, and finding one thing for him. LOl
We just did our 2nd Xmas, we went the year before, thinking we would do it once for Xmas, and we did it again this year! How did I get it to work, sweet talked my husband with tickets to the Green Bay Packers, in Tampa on Dec 21st. It was one day out of a 12 day vacation, which started out as a short 7 day trip. Such fun!

I SO wish planning another trip was in my future. We were there in May, and that will be it for a while.

We have future plans for about 5 or 6 years down the road that we are mulling over - but the family would really like to see other places. And with kids the ages they are, (and me the true Disney freak in the house), I know we have to see other places as well.

DH and I are off to Myrtle Beach in February to visit my inlaws who will be there for two months.

Just for ****s & giggles, I googled how far it was from there to Disney. Sadly, I was shocked to learn it is over 7 hours - so no quick zip to Disney for the day for me! :lmao:

Started planning the day after I got home. Looks like I may get two trips in.. Planning a San Antonio, Dallas, Orlando trip in the fall. 10-12 days. Looking for flights for Florida for next April.

i think that with WDW a discontinuing the no expire passes it will force me to rethink how often we visit Orlando. But after being indoctrinated to the Caribbean cruise culture I think that frequent returns to Florida are inevitable. Not a terrible thing.

that said, we have a UK trip in our future (2016 or 2017) to visit in laws and the kids have never been to Paris, so there may yet be a way to get a Disney fix after this years vIsit.

Finally got over it!!! We're all set to go Sept 12 at Pop with free dinning, :car: here we come!
