Soooooo...we have been back for about a month. I must admit that I have been avoiding the DIS because I am so bummed that we aren't there anymore, and a little more than jealous of everyone who is planning trips...but alas, i have been informed to start checking prices for Christmas 2009...I guess that means we are going again! :D

Back to the FOOD!!! I am pretty sure that after this trip some serious dieting and exercise is in order. Here are a list of the places we visited:

POP Food Court - POST 17
Leaning Palms
Capt N' Jacks
ABC Commissary
50's Prime Time Cafe
Peevy's Frozen Concoctions
Tangierine Cafe - Morocco
The Coral Reef
Kringla Bakery
Boulangerie Patisserie
Pecos Bill's
Cinderella's Royal Feast
Aloha Isle
Flame Tree BBQ
'Ohana
Garden View Lounge
**Minor Note**
I must add, we were on the DDP, and really really enjoyed it. The DDP gets too much negative feedback. It was the perfect amount of food and we never felt limited. Mind you we had and ADR for every day we were there AND we went smack in the middle of July, but despite all of this, we rode almost every ride twice! And there were several times we were able to leave the park for a nap!!!

I will start the actual reviews tomorrow...I haven't gotten around to uploading my pictures yet! Overall our food was very good. We had few complaints! Even better was the amazing service at everywhere. As for the controversial tip issue...we didn't mind the suggestions listed, in fact there were even times we tipped more because our server was that amazing! I have to go get some rest because I have been sick but stay tuned!!!!! :D

Oh, I'm the first to sign in!!!!! Looking forward to the pics and reviews!!!:cool1:

Get some rest so that you will feel better and start typing those reviews!:goodvibes

Subscribing. Looking forward to your reviews! Did they have noodles or potatoes at Ohana? Inquiring minds want to know!

Looking forward to the reviews! Hope you feel better soon!

Thanks to everyone for tuning in! I am really excited that so many people love food/WDW/food porn as much as me!

So I STILL haven't uploaded my pictures yet, but I know that all of my precious fans are just dying for some good ol' WDW food! So I thought I would start it off slow with my review of the POP food court, Everything POP!

Me and lil bro (12) had breakfast there every morning, and every morning we had the same exact thing...Chocolate Croissants  and a giant blue raspberry icee or a giant frozen coke in one of our oh-so-cute refillable mugs.

There was one pitiful morning that I got a cheese omlette...but it was barely edible. It was cold. I am not the biggest fan of omlettes to begin with so maybe that's why I didn't really like it :confused3
*editorial note- the refillable mugs are 100% necessary no matter where you stay...it is very nice to come from a hot park, onto a cold bus, and then into the food court for a frozen coke*

Back to breakfast, first off, I am NOT a big chocolate person, nor am I a breakfast person either. But those flaky creamy suckers were spectacular. One would think that the croissant - frozen coke combo would be gross, but it really was good. (Can you tell I like frozen cokes??) The croissants were never warm (my only objection), but a quick 10 sec nuke in the microwave fixed that. By our last day I swear the staff knew us and our orders by heart.

*i stole this from one of the food porn boards...i was too excited for the parks/exhausted to remember to take pictures at 7am*

My only major grievance with dining in WDW is COFFEE...I AM A COLLEGE STUDENT...this means COLLEGE STUDENT = COFFEE. Coffee is one of the very few things I splurge on while at school. I really need that hot steamy cup o joe in the mornings. One sip of the mud that nescafe calls coffee and I was done...I stuck to hot chocolate and frozen coke in the mornings.
Disney, I am begging you to please strike up a contract with Starbucks or Caribou...PPLLLEEEAAAZZEEEEEEEE:worship: ...I am dying over here...My parents deemed it drinkable, but when it comes to caffeine they aren't hard to please.
That is about the extent of our adventures in Everything POP! When I start my trip report everyone will understand why. I have nothing against POP, we just had ADT's and rides to attend to.

Oh yeah...all of those croissants/not-so-yummy omlettes were OOP.

I am right there with you on the coffee deal. I say that as I sip an iced carmel macchiato.
