Hey everyone!

I've been away from the boards for a long.. long... LONG time... but I'm back!

Last May was our last trip to WDW and it was incredible! Actually, we got ENGAGED in front of Cinderella Castle - so magical! :wizard::wizard::wizard:
It was during the Electrical Parade, so now that obnoxious song makes me all smitten and giddy :)

Now we're in full swing wedding planning mode (NOT a disney wedding, gosh we could never afford that!). We've been throwing around a million different ideas of where to go, and of course I keep coming back to DISNEY.

So now begins...
Opperation Convince Bob to do a Disney-Moon! :)

He isn't so much against another Disney trip... I think he just wants to go somewhere new.

First thought was a Mediterranean Cruise... but of course for HALF THE COST of the cruise, airfare, excursions, etc, etc we could stay at a Deluxe resort WITH hoppers WITH a dining plan AND airfare ... I mean.. c'mon now! ;)

So anyways... Just thought I'd pop in here and say hello again before I dive in and become completely 100% re-obsessed with everyone's favorite mouse and that little slice of heaven in Florida!

:bride:

Oh, maybe I can, a Disney cruise....been only one and the ship impressed the heck out of me.....ports not so much but the ship and Castaway cay....you need nothing else.....but WDW and a Disney cruise would be the best......so much to see and do and I personally feel, at a decent price...

We've been other places, and done other amustment parks, even the ocean vacations but nothing draws us back like Disney....I feel I get the best bang for my buck....resorts are fantastic, we only stay deluxe and if you can fit one in, it's a whole different experience...and worth it for a Disneymoon....

You can hit the parks, or not and enjoy your surrounding, play at the pool, dine in splendor, walk around the grounds, snuggle up and take in the resort beach movie....enjoy some drinks and retire to your room..

The cruise will do the same but no parks to escape to....we're not much into the food dining thing and on the cruise it's, eat, eat and more eat....ding pleasure at your fingertips....theatres, movies, entertainment (and no gambling) just luxury second to none, oversized stateroom cabins, ocean veranda's......if you can't convince him on WDW....go for a Disney cruise...with the new ships they've built no other cruise line could hold a candle to...pricey yes.....but well worth a one time Disneymoon...

Pepe,
Thanks! I tried the Disney Cruise idea a few times on him and he just gave it a flat out NO. Even when I suggested a land/sea combination. I understand his thoughts on that though... If we're going to do a cruise we're going to do one that's not guaranteed to be full of kiddos. We've both cruised many many times and besides going to WDW, its both of our favorites for traveling :)

I really think that the Disney trip might happen though. I mean, the "maybe" is a huge jump from the instant "no" I got a few months ago when I tried. :)

I agree that you definitely get the most bang for your buck on a Disney vacation. Disney knows how to treat their guests! You're comfortable, you're happy, you're entertained and you're well fed! Can't get better than that! haha

If a prospective bride can't convince the groom of how things are supposed to go, she is doing something very very wrong. C'mon ladies, take this poor soul in hand and show her the way.

haha, swissdog!
I'm making progress... we've gone from a "no way in hell" all the way to "maybe" in just a matter of weeks.

Also, he's complaining about all the Disney ads on his computer at work, which means HE'S been looking things up about it. haha.

Totally getting my way here ;)
