Well folks, I almost did it again. I firmly placed my foot in mouth yet again. I was nearly banned during the first hours of my return. I wish to sincerely aplogize to all that I offended/may have offended by using asterisks to imply foul language.

It was gently pointed out to me that this is a violation of the DISboard website guidelines, and really has no place in a family and/or Disney setting.

I did not intend to bypass the site's filter, but ignorance is no excuse. Also, with the benefit of hindsight, I too must agree that this type of coarse language has no place in this forum.

Once again I wish to thank the webmasters for giving me a warning instead of banning me, as was their right.

So yet again, I offer a sincere greenban apology, and I will do better in the future.

You be a good boy and I promise to be a good girl and it will all work out!

So now...someone tell me why I should try the food and wine festival next year. I have never gone (back on "topic" see :) being good already)

Well, ditto. I apparently did EXACTLY the same thing, and then unknowingly quoted YOU doing the same thing, so I was double-whammy warned. (My first apology to the mods seemed a bit transparent once the second violation occured!)

I must admit - I have been pushing the limits with risque posts not really appropriate for a Disney forum. Although some may have found these entertaining, I realize others may have been offended, and to those people I apologize.

I'm gonna go sulk for a few days now....

If they start cracking down on straying off topic, I'm doomed.

Well, it's not easy being green
and
everyone knows that English is a second language for a horse.

May the force be gentle with you.

lol We all would be! I assume that is part of why they gave us a community board, for these strange wandering threads we seem to create.

Third in this case. As mentioned before, I speak only fluent Portuguese and use translation software for these boards.

But what is it like? Little stands? Different things set up in the different countries?

I really am clueless about this one.

Go..you will love it. Each country has a stand set up, usually on the walkway in front of the country (from what I can recall, there is one or two that have their stands in their main building). There's usually two or three selections of country or region specific drinks and food. Food portions are generally snack size and range from a $1 to $6 (that general range, could be slightly different). There's also bands and other entertainment. Stay at BCV or BWV so you can walk back. It's really a great way to spend an afternoon or evening. My wife and I would grab a bite and a drink and relax while my daughter enjoyed the Kidcot stations - worked out well. If your kids aren't into the Kidcot stuff, it could be a problem.

So far we have skipped the World Showcase with them for the most part, so I am not sure if they would enjoy it or not. However, there really hasn't been much they didn't like (can't think of a thing off hand), so I suspect it would go over well.

It does sounds nice. I kinda assumed that was what it was about, but wasn't 100%. So maybe next year we will give it a whirl.

Point of Information - The topic of this thread is greenban's return and subsequent apology. Therefore, the topic of teh F&W fest is actually straying OT. While I appreciate your trying to put some true Disney info in this thread, it is OT. In addition, questions about the F&W fest should really go on teh Theme Parks board. Just so you know. ;)

Now, I feel it is my duty to put this straying thread back OT. :teeth:

Rash - Yes, the fact that English is your 3rd language should help people to understand some of the honest mistakes that you made.

PLEASE...don't anyone go away and pout!!! That would make me WAY too sad! Not a good thing for a Friday. :sad2:

Sorry lllovell, I just had to do it! (I hope you got the complete spirit of jest that this was meant in!) :goodvibes
