That's my understanding by putting things together

At one point Blake said we got engaged Sunday I think he said it to Michael

Somewhere I read it was filmed wih on the tues or wed

When I was reading about Ames and ???? And them not being together anymore it was mentioned that it was awkward staying so close when they were brought back for the final

Then this morning it Was reported that the producers too the cell phones and kept them apart

So they were on "lockdown" from the time they got engaged all the way to when they filmed?

I guess with that new information I feel better about Holly. I saw her ring on People Magazine's website. It's beautiful!

An update on hollygate

On the entertainment segment part of the news this morning they were discussing why Holly didn't tell Michael about being engaged to Blake

Turns out she wanted to but the producers took her and blakes cell phone and kept them separated from Michael even keeping Holly and Michael in different rooms during the taping of everything so she didn't actually have a chance to tell him anything

Apparently both Holly and Michael have stated theory were Separated back stage.

So let's put the blame where it belongs - the producers

It was done for ratings and shock value

Still not buying it. Holly and Blake went along with the filming of the engagement, so they took part in the blindside. I just think they could've found a way. I would never put myself into the position where I'm held hostage like that. And Blake was so damn smirky (as always). Yeah, the producers are scummy and certainly initiated everything, but Holly and Blake went along with it. If Holly hadn't been so open about her relationship with Blake in front of Michael, maybe I'd give them more credit and blame it wholly on the producers.

BY ALL MEANS, Holly has every right to move on from Michael. I just think that she could have been more discreet and respectful, whether Michael was the one who broke up with her or vice versa. They still care very much for each other, and he didn't treat her like **** like Jake and Vienna. Hopefully Michael will find someone decent. And I just can't help thinking that Holly likes the excitement of new love...hope it lasts. (Actually, I don't care if it does or not. )

Please understand that these people signed contracts before committing to this farce. They have to follow the contracts in order to be compensated.

The BP people have received ad dollars based on the people who will not just watch the first 1/2 hour but until the very end. The numbers will reflect if the people fall off towards the end.

They have to keep the "suspense" going to keep the people interested OR they have to pay a portion of that money back.

Believe me, reality people have done FAR worse to make sure the bottom line is met.

Idc how much money I was getting..I would never EVER blindside someone like that..especially if I've had a relationship and a good friendship with this person. I would've forgave my money for that. That's just mean and hurtful!! She could've emailed him or anything she wanted to do..but like some others have said..she and Blake went along with it.

I wish they would've talked to Ames and Jackie. I really like Ames and I think he should've been the next Bachelor. He's so diverse and educated and I'm sure they wouldn't have had no problems finding women to go on the show.

My thing is this: if you're only gonna focus on the drama peope..why have everyone else on the show??? I mean everyone should've talked about what they're doin now and blah blah blah.

These people on here are a trip and really need some snacks to the face about certain things in life and how REALITY really works!! And the whole thing with Kasey and Veinaa???!!! She is such a Media W@$&!!! That stuff coming out of her mouth was just garbage..just like her!!

SN: I've been wondering if they're ever gonna have a black..Mexican..minority Bachelor/Bacherlotte!! I think it's time the stop offering people a chance to be on the show when all they do is pick from who was on the previous Bachelor/Bachelorette. That's why I hate when they: "If you or someone you know would like to be the next Bachelor/Bachelorette or on the show..please contact ABC and send in your video." PUUUUHHHHLLLEAZE!!! People..save your video tapes cause it's all a scam!!

I did not see him propose when I watched online- was it on TV?

Baby1, I have wondered about that too. They have had some minority contestants, but they didn't last long. It would be great to have it start with the Bachelor/Bachelorette

This is the same show where Jason dumped Melissa on live TV. I believe they do sign their lives away when they sign up for these shows.

All this was done in the second hour where they voted on who got the money. They showed Blake giving Holly the ring right before they brought out Holly and Michael , Michelle and Gram. Michael only found out about them then.

The proposal was done a mountian top , looked like a picnic type thing and he got down on one knee with a beautiful ring.

Ella voted for Holly and Michael. I wonder if Kirk did as well. I don't think they showed his vote, because Holly and Michael got the votes needed to win before Kirk's vote could be revealed.
