That's sad. Maybe he felt like he wasn't going to win the money, so he would make a huge romantic gesture and endear him to everyone so they would invite him to be a Bachelor.

I see he was still "On Bachelorette" when this was taped and after he left the show - Hmmmm - makes you know that all the romance he wasn't showing to Ashley was because he was "in love" with Jackie.

I can't blame Ames either. If I turned around and saw Vienna, Kasey, Erica, Melissa and Joke (not a misspelling) I'd jump in the car with anyone going the other way!!

And, about the scripted acting...
Remember Vienna TRYING to 'act' like "I am just terrified... Jake is a monster..."

Well I saw a moment of TRUE upset and terror on her face when Chris announced that two women would be going home, and given that people are getting tired of her whole 'Jake' act... She knew that she might be one of them...

OMG, this 'reality' TV is such good comedy!!!!

Idk, from the article, it almost sounds like Bachelor Pad wasn't Ames' thing, so Jackie was a perfect out...

It's SOOOO obvious, isn't it? Can't ... turn ... away....

But CAN fast forward like a champ. I watch the entire show in about a half hour. All I have to do is ff thru all the V/J/C stuff and the rest is about a few minutes.

I must say, I am liking Chris Harrison more and more every episode! With him calling out Vienna about having to stay there with Jake...awesome!
In other news...what is she afraid of happening with Jake without Kasey? There are cameras everywhere in case she hasn't noticed!

I thought so too, but this paragraph from the link above leads me to think otherwise, unless I'm just missing something...

Yes, that's what they mean. Ames was still being seen on TV as a candidate for Ashley when filming for Bachelor Pad started.
