Has anyone used the babysitting @ GCH? We are planning a trip in July for our anniversary and DH would like a dinner and nite out alone.. anyone ever use them? We go to disney a few times a year, but never have done this!

I did use babysitting for my youngest once about 5 years ago. I can't remember the name of the company. Did the hotel give you names?

Now my youngest is older & spoiled as he just about demands one evening to be taken to Pinocchio's Workshop-"Enjoy a night out and treat children ages 5-12 to an evening of arts and crafts, computer games, Disney movies, dinner and snacks with a caring, licensed supervisor in an environment created for them (available to Resort Hotel Guests; additional fee)." And I guess we can pull ourselves away from him at least one night. :cool1:

Post the name of the company they give you & I'll tell you if it that is the one we used. We have used one @ DL, once @ WDW & in Hawaii. Not the same company but I did lots of research and was not disappointed any of the times. Make sure you make reservations and such as I remember there was a lot of paperwork!

They gave me
Around the clock sitters and Sitters Unlimited.. I talked to sitters unlimited, she was very nice and the sitters have background checks, cpr and references. I would do the pinochhio thing but DS is only 18months and he can't go. I will have DD do that one nite if she wants.. I have seen it offered there each time we go, but she has never been old enough!! !

Thank you!

It was Sitters Unlimited. The woman brought a whole basket of toys & books with her to the room and my son, who was about 2 at the time, absolutely adored her. But then he has never really had a problem with any female he has ever met. He wanted to get married after his 1st day in Kindergarden. Can't wait until he gets into his teens!
Enjoy!

I took my DS to Pinocchio's workshop last year and he loved it. I have used the kids clubs at WDW several times and they are all run pretty much the same. it is nice that that give you a pager if there would be any issues. I just made reservations today for our vacation next week!:goodvibes
