We hired a babysitter while at Disney. Kids night out. While the babysitters are not disney sitters, they are recommended by disney just like mears transportation.

They were great. They asked lots of questions, needs etc. Explained everything fully before we arrived so that there were no surprises. The cost was higher than you would pay a sitter at your home...I will let you get your own quote. We needed the sitter for a long day..8am to 10pm for my grandaughter. The woman they sent was so excellent. She brought a stroller, toys etc. You have to supply one meal for the sitter. We were at beach club villas so we gave the sitter cash to eat at Cape May with our grandaughter, all went well. Because it was a long day..we provided two meals for our sitter, this was our choice, and she was very grateful.

Our grandaughter..18 months at the time took to her immediately. We came back before dinner to change for our evening event, we gave the sitter an hour break. This isn't necessary, but we did need to change. When we arrived back to the room at the end of the night our grandaughte was sleeping peacefully, didn't even wake up until next morning..(she is a really good sleeper..lol)

We would use this service again without hesitation. They were fantastic!

I highly recommend Kids Nite Out. We used them twice on our Spring Break 2005 trip. The sitters are very professional. The first one we had was more "fun" in the girls' opinion than the second, but both were very nice and very organized. They did bring activities for the children. They will ask you your children's names and ages when you call to book. The sitter will bring age-appropriate craft or game.
As you can imagine, they do not take children to the pool or to an water-based activities due to liability.
Between us we had 3 children and for 3 the rate is $19/hour plus a minimal fee for transportation ($8). Check their website. www.kidsniteout.com Although it is not a Disney-owned company, "Our professional caregivers are trained by Kid’s Nite Out & must complete Walt Disney World 'Traditions' "
Also - there is a 4-hour minimum.
Good luck!

We have used Fairy Godmothers twice and they are great. All mothers/grandmothers. We will be using them again in December. DH really loves a night out alone at Pleasure Island after a week with DS, he can be exhausting. My son has autism and they are GREAT with special needs kids. I think they charge $12, plus a transportation fee (same as kids night out), 4 hour minimum. We just adore them! They bring toys as well. I liked them because they are older and all female (males make great sitters too, but when I don't know you...). No website, but allears has info up on them. I especially recommend Vera if she is available.

my family has used kids nite out many times on trips, group family trips & i plan on using them again for our wdw wedding. the sitters are great bring toys & play games, cpr trained, feed & put the kids to sleep, etc. kids nite out 407-828-0920. its great for an adult only evening or time away.
