Baby's first trip I feel like a newbie.

I'm going with DD and her DH and my brand new grandbaby (who will be 8 months). I'm usually the family planner, but with the new Genie and having never visited with an infant, I'm at a bit of a loss. We will have 4 days at the parks and I could add park hopping into the tickets if needed. DD and I are good with anything and will probably just do baby centric things (any suggestions welcome) but SIL wants to do the star wars attractions in DHS. I need help figuring out how to make that happen while still keeping baby happy. Any advice? Experiences with an infant?

You can have your daughter and SIL go on the attractions in Galaxy’s Edge while you stay with the baby. There’s lots of fun things to see in the area.

We brought our four month old a few years ago. He seemed to enjoy people watching, strolling in the stroller, and being held by one of the many pairs of willing arms (traveled with relatives.) I found it much easier to travel with him as a baby than as a toddler. He napped a lot in the stroller, and otherwise, just came along with whatever we wanted to do. We did Rider Switch for a lot of rides. We went to every baby center - and that's my biggest tip - when he got overstimulated, we would duck into the quiet baby center - that helped both of us. Our joke was that the changing table in HS was his favorite "ride" because he was so happy lying there - laughing and chatting. Of course he doesn't remember the trip, but I do, and I love looking at photos with him now that he's almost three. Have a great time!!!

An 8 month old is like furniture (generally), they sleep, they eat, they need diaper changes. Honestly I would just plan how you would normally plan and just remember to feed the baby and change their diapers.
