Baby @ Water Park

Which water park has the best kiddie area for an 11 month old. She is walking, loves the water in the pool at home. So it isn't going to be something new. Do they allow floating devises at the water parks or arm floaties? Any suggestions for taking DGD so young??

Hi there, there has been a number of threads on this. While both have good kiddy sectiosn, my opinon and many others is BB is the best. (try doing a search). The kiddie area at BB is good for young walkers, sand to play in close by, jumping water. Very small water sides that a limber parent can put the kid on their lap. My DD liked it better then TL (but she did like TL, it is just geered more to kids age 4 and up) because there wasn't as much water splashing in her face.

They do allow water wings and their is life jackets avilable. I don't think you can have floating divices (small rafts etc...) You can bring the little on with you on the lazy river, and the wave pool is mild so you can hold her in that. Bring some sand toys or buy a few. Get there early, the seats go fast.

The days we went to the water parks were the best of the trip.

Did the search...couldn't find anything on the floating devises, or water wings.... thought I would try a diferent post.... Thanks for all the advise. From what I can see BB is the most popular for younger kids and babies. We have TL planned but I think I will change it to BB.

You will be happy with BB (like I said both are good, BB is better for younger.) I think the search would work well for water parks or TT and BB. (I know there was many threads because I have answered 3 or more myself ) They also allow the swim suits that have foaters in it. My dd hates those and life jakets (we have a ponton boat, so she has to wear one alot.) and won't wear them to play with, but likes water wings. (they also sell them for a few dollars at most resorts and water parks.)

The kiddie area at BB is called Tikes Peak and it is really well disigned. It is to the right as you come in. Also they allow coolers, so you can bring what ever food you want (no glass or alchol I belive!) They will check it, but they check everything now a days. Bring your camera and camcorder if you are comfortable with that, we took tons of pictures, they are great.

Good luck, the weather should be great for your trip. We will be in Vero Beach in just a few days and we are really looking forward to it.
