Baby Swapping and FastPass?

Hi. I was wondering - can you get FastPasses and do baby swap with them? Or do you have to wait in the regular line?

Yes, you can do fast pass and baby swap. We always do. I think they let you keep the original FP too, so if you are traveling with a big group someone will be able to use the FP and the person with the Baby swap pass gets to bring two people with them.

Just wanted to note that since the lines are really short in September...usually fast pass and baby swap isn't up and running. We have never used/been able to use either when we go (we go the weekend after Labor Day and the following week).

It doesn't really matter how the first parent wants to ride (Fastpass, standby or single rider). First, when you approach the ride entrance, ask the CM at either the stand by entrance or the Fastpass entrance how you can child swap and then they'll hand you the Rider Switch pass (good all day for up to 3 guests) as long as they see the child that is not tall enough to ride.

Then one parent rides however they chose to (if it's the Fastpass line, then be sure to get your Fastpass right away) and after they're done, the second parent rides with the Rider Switch pass at their convenience with up to 2 guest to keep them company; 3 guest total.

This is the way it is at rides where Fastpass is offered (except Star Tours; you swap at the ride itself).

At rides without Fastpass, again you approach the CM at the entrance and ask if they have child swap and how they handle it. Usually, you would all enter the line together and swap at the ride itself.
