It depends on the ride. Make sure you talk to the CM at the entrance of the ride so you get the right instuctions.
Some rides work this way. You all go through the ride and when you get to loading one of you gets on, and the other waits with the kids. Then they get to go on.
Sometimes they give you a pass, sometimes it is a FP, sometimes a Child switch pass, one person goes through the line while the other takes the kiddies to another attraction. When that person gets done, you meet them at the exit and then you got through the exit with the pass, and get loaded on the exit side.
Sometimes the second person goes through the FP line to get their turn.
We encountered all three methods, and it wasn't always the same, even at the same ride. For example at Splash Mountn, we needed to do a swap at the last minute. I Was given a FP and told to wait outside, and when DH got off I was to go through the FP line. The next time we talked to the CM before we got in line (since we already had FP's) and they gave us a swap card which I then used to enter through the exit. I thionk it all depends on how buzy the day is and what is going on at the ride at that time.
Either way it works, they are great!!! Sometimes it is the only way for EVERYONE to experinence the rides they want.
