If I have a Fast Pass + and want to do baby swap, does my husband need a fast pass to use the baby swap?

We went a few weeks ago and I had read some differing accounts before we went, but we did not need a 2nd FP for the swaps we did (Kali River, Space Mtn, Thunder Mtn, and Mine Train.

Wonderful! Do you mean I could use my fast pass to go by myself and then he could take both older kids through the fast pass line using the baby swap? That would be great! So far I've only managed to get 2 7 dwarves fast passes.

Yes, he could. Baby swap is very convenient. I'm going to miss it when the little one grows up. :)

Yes. And if your younger one is over 3 but not tall enough to ride some thrill rides, you can pass of the band. Or your DH could get FP+ for another ride and you could then get rider swap for another ride and take your kids on both. And I just thought of this but your kids could also split their FP+ up and more multiple riding - I think I'll have to try this. Last trip my 2 older kids rode everything multiple times with FP+. The only thing to be aware of is that the older kids need to be over 7 to ride alone - this means in their own seat. My kids were asked on every ride their age. So if one of your kids is not over 7 that may be a problem. Also prepare the older kid that they will likely never ride with a parent. This upset my oldest because he always had to ride by himself or with his sister because DH and I always had to ride with our 2 and 5 year old.

I just realized splitting kids fp probably wouldn't. But if one of your kids was over 14 or you had another adult than you could get multiple rider swaps for the same ride by splitting up. We actually rode on most things one at a time and ended with a lot of extra rider swaps that we gave away. The reason is that even the fp line can take 20 minutes from start to finish and that can be long to wait for everyone else.

We were told we could not get a RS at 2 rides that my husband was using a FP for. The CM said "you'll have your other FP to use so there is no need for your to have a RS" I actually argued with the CM at Barnstormer for 10 minutes about it. My older child was under 3 and didn't need a FP, but what if she did? Then she wouldn't have been able to ride with the other parent the 2nd time.

Yet we had no issue getting RS with a FP for another ride at other times.

They were dead wrong in those instances and it should be reported. Uninformed CM's need to be taught the correct policies.
