Hi! I honestly don't know this, so bear with me - would it be okay to babyswap with kids that are 7 years old? Here's the deal. My friend and I are taking our 7 year old girls who won't want to ride EE, SM, and possibly TT. Can we do a baby swap with these girls, so we can both ride these rides, or does one of us need to wait in line, lride, leave the building completely, and switch places outside so the other can ride? Thanks!

These rides have FP- use the FP option to bypass the lines. My understanding is that you can only get a bnaby swap if someone is too small to get on the ride.

We've often done the child swap with my DD who is no longer a baby. We've never had a problem. DH usually rides with my older DDs and I wait with the younger one. Then we swap and the older girls also get to ride with me. (We've done it when younger DD was at least 8 yrs old - she wouldn't ride ANYTHING with even a hint of a drop or if it went too fast, which meant all of the mountains as well as RNRC & TOT - but I don't ride RNRC & TOT either!)

This past summer, she did try some of the rides - she and I still have never tried TOT!

Have a great trip!

How do you do this? Do you just wait in line and then stand at the loading area while the rest ride?

I beg to differ.

If your child meets the height requirements, then they have you all go in line together and swap at the ride.

If your child doesn't meet the height requirements, then they will give you a special baby swap Fastpass that is good for up to 3 people all day long.

We have a 7 year old who is afraid of Splash, Thunder, and ToT and at all these rides they measured her and said that since she is tall enough, we could swap at the ride itself but she had to enter the line with us.

So what we do instead is just get Fastpasses for all of us and swap that way. DH goes with older DD and then when they are done I go with older DD. We make our own swapping with Fastpass.

So basically you can swap at any ride, but the procedure is different if your child meets the height requirement. Also, each ride might handle swapping a little different than another one so best advice is to just ask at the entrance to each ride. There is a CM at the entrance to the standby line and to the Fastpass line. Just explain to them you have a child old enough to ride but doesn't want to and they'll tell you what to do.
