Has anyone used the Fairy Godmothers or Kids Nite Out? We are going with a 3 year old and 18month old. How much are the fairy Godmothers? And are they worth it?

We used Fairygodmother a couple of years ago and it worked out great. Our daugthter was 4 at the time and she really enjoyed her sitter. If we weren't going to use the kids' clubs, I would definately use Fairygodmothers again. I don't remember how much we paid, and rates may have changed since then. Good luck and have a great trip!

I'm looking into this option right now and Kids nite out charges $16.50 per hour for two children. Min of 4 hours. They also charge a $8 transportation fee. The have a website www.kidsniteout.com. I haven't seen anything on Fairygodmothers yet.

I used FGM this past July. It was a spur of the moment request since DS was under the weather and the rest of the group wanted to jet to Epcot. Concierge called and they sent a sitter within a touch over an hour. I was impressed. She was such a sweet lady and our son enjoyed her company. I can't remember exactly how much it was, but it wasn't way out there even though I didn't have reservations. I gave the sitter an extremely nice tip as well considering the circumstances. I thought they would surcharge me for late notice, but they sure didn't. FGM has my seal of approval and I'd use them again in a heartbeat. FGM will take your kids swimming and to the theme parks (if you pay for the park ticket & food while they are out). Kids Nite Out will only sit in the rooms or in recreation areas such as the arcade or playground. If you want them to take the kiddos swimming, make sure to tell FGM so they can arrange for an appropriate sitter.

I can give a thumbs up to Kids Nite Out. We had a very positive experience with a sitter who watched our then 4-yr-old and 16-month-old. We'll be using them again in December.

I had communication issues with FGM. They never returned my initial call, so I called back and got a very rude woman on the phone. All in all, I found the experience unsettling though I have no experience with the sitters themselves, of course.
