I'm a bit of an overachiever, planning to go in 8/2005 :)
DH and I want to try Emirl's Orlando, and don't want to take the kids. Will FGs come to a FtWilderness campsite? How late will they stay? I worry that we wouldn't get back by 9:30 which is when Kid's Nite Out leaves.

Any information would be appreciated. We considered the Neverland Club, but it would cost about twice as much as in-room sitting. Thanks a lot!

DD who will be 8
DS who will be 5
DH who doesn't want me to tell his age;)

are you sure Kids Night Out finish at 9:30? That sounds awfully early.

yup - according to the Childcare FAQ on WDWIG, Kids Night out are available 24 horus a day, but after 9:30 the rate goes up

I read on another post that the company is Kid's Nite Out. Below is a link to their web site. The site says that they are the preferred childcare provider for WDW. On their policy page it says that if they start working after 9:00 pm then there is an additional charge per hour.

The 1-800 number on the site is different from the one given on Deb's site and she says Kid's Night Out. Does anyone know if they are the same company? We're going in November and I want to book a baby-sitter. But I can't decide wheter to use Kid's Nite Out of Fairy Godmothers.

Thanks for any advice you can give me!

Dh just asked me to get them so we can have a night in Epcot. I wasn't planning on using them, but now I am. I know a few people have had bad expiriences with the Fairy Godmothers..but I haven't heard much on Kids Night Out. I agree..any info would be great..

Your expierience?
If your kids can talk..did they have fun?
Also, has anyone used the Kindercare?

I think the FAQ link mentioned that Disney severed ties with kindercare. After calculating, I decided that it would be just as expensive, and less trouble, to let the kids go to one of the kid clubs. I noticed that the one for Wilderness lodge mentioned 'for resort guests only.' Does that mean for WL guests, or anyone stayingon Disney properties?

it's anyone staying on disney property. My dd went to the one at AKL and the one at Yacht Club and really enjoyed both of them, I think they are more fun than a babysitter, imho.

I think Kids Night Out and Kids Nite Out are the same, Deb's site uses both spellings, i think it's just a typo.

My kids are too young for the kids clubs..or thats what I would do too. I think we figured out to use any of the services it would be about 80-90 dollars for 4 hours ( which is the requirement.) So, we are still trying to decide for us, what would be best.

In 2004, my DS will be old enough, but not my DD, and I want 7 kids, so I think this is the only year we will be able to afford any services until they all reach 4 (in 14 to 15 years:p ) So if we were going to do it, now would be the time.

I will post if we decide to use them and how it went. I like Kids Nite Out and All About Kids becuase they show up with papers in a uniform and I have heard that the FG do not. Also, I will not have them take my kids anywhere. i would order pizza and leave them in the room. Taking a 2yo and a 1yo is tough for me, let alone someone else that doesn't know my kids! So, they will stay in the room if we decide to do this.

Like I said, I will keep you all posted! Keep the info coming!
