I started at 9pm on friday evening for a saturday shower! I must be insane...lol

OMG that is so cute! How did you get the water to look like water? And what is the unbrella handle made out of?

I like to bake, but I can't bake like that.

thanks for looking! :goodvibes

cake is 2 9" rounds, torted and filled - french vanilla cake with bavarian cream and strawberry filling...yummm-y!

umbrella was baked in a small pyrex bowl

water is piping gel over buttercream

umbrella handle is white MMF over one of those round, white, lollipop sticks

:)

How clever -- the water really looks like water

thanks! learned it on cakecentral...:thumbsup2

Too cute!!:goodvibes :goodvibes

Really, have you thought about doing this in some sort of business?...'cause you're really good - just really, really good!

Bet it was delish!

:sunny:

thanks! :goodvibes I'd love to...sure would beat what I do now, designing shopping centers...lol

Is the rubber duckie made from chocolate? If so and you don't mind my asking, what mold did you use?

Lovely cake,
Suzanne

ducky is lemon flavored white chocolate. I used the ducky lollipop mold...it had cavities to make 2 lollipops, so a total of 4 halves...

Great cake. I thought the duckie was a rubber duckie until someone asked and I looked closer - cool!
