I will be in WDW with my 9 month old in June. I plan on bringing a big pack of diapers, wipes and some baby food. (she eats a lot of regular food so I don't need too much jarred baby food). If I run out of diapers and/or wipes, is there someplace convenient to buy them? I was thinking the shops in the hotels probably have them.
Thanks! :tigger:

I've never bought them at disney but I'd bet the hotel shops have them. Also, I know you can pick emergency diapers/wipes up in the parks at the baby changing stations (check your park maps for locations). Just curious, how long are you staying? My son is in size 3 and the largest pack of diapers in that size gives you 72. Thats 10 diapers a day if you're staying 7 days. Seems like plenty to me.

We will be staying 5 days. She is in a Size 3 also. I am sure 1 pack would be enough but ya never know!! LOL
Thanks for your answer!

The hotel shops do have these items but they're pretty expensive. I don;t know the price of the diapers since my kids are done with diapers, but I still like to have wipes for sticky hands, etc. The shop at OKW had packs of wipes (maybe 10 or 20 wipes in a pack) for $2.00 each.

You may be better off shipping a box of diapers and wipes to yourself at your resort.

We have 8 people going. I also paid for a plane ticket for her so she will have luggage too. I may just stuff an extra pack of diapers in someone else's luggage.

I know this is OT but I noticed you're staying at Pop. We stayed there in April and absolutely LOVED it! It was our first value but I'd say this was our best trip yet, partly because of this resort.
Sounds like a good plan on the diapers. Good luck and enjoy your trip!! :thumbsup2

We're just back from our first trip with an infant (8 months old). The Baby Care Centers sell diapers, wipes, baby food, formula, bottles, etc. Not sure of the prices for diapers and wipes, but the baby food packets were approx twice the usual price (I was curious, so I asked, but didn't need any of it). I shipped a box of diapers, wipes, baby food and snacks, disposable bibs/spoons, and some other supplies ahead of time. I sent 8 diapers per day (usually use about 6 at home) and came home with about 10-12 to spare. I shipped a collapsible pack of 88 wipes from Costco (plus another 50 wipes or so I carried in my diaper bag). I found it really helpful to not have to carry this stuff through the airport since it was tough enough with DD's stroller, car seat, etc. Have fun!!

I sent a box ahead of time with diapers, wipes, baby diapers, baby snacks and such and had plenty while there (I even brought back lots of diapers). Mailing a package in advance is a quick and easy option. It cost about $10 for 12 pounds of stuff.

Glad to hear that about POP. I never stayed at a value..only on the monorail and at Shades of Green. But since we are paying for 8 people, it was $3000 more to stay at Poly. I just couldn't see spending that much extra money!

Ok dumb question. How do you mail it ahead?? Do you just address it to yourself at the hotel and they just hold it?? This would definitely make life a lot easier packing and at the airport!

Thanks!
