What is Universal's policy on bringing a child about 8-10months old onto rides??? Obviously the child would be on the lap of one of the other members of the party? Is this aloud on all rides that dont have a height restriction??? Any ideas on what rides the child could/couldnt ride???? Thanks for any information and experiences.

I can't think of many rides where you'd be able to do that. I don't have any experience, so no actual factual help. I just don't recall seeing babies on anything we rode. (there were definitely some people in the parks with babies).

With a child that age, you'll mostly be doing a swap or doing the show-type attractions.

There are VERY few rides without height restrictions. The CaroSEUSSel and One Fish Two Fish are the only things I can think of off the top of my head. My 2 year old was over 36" last year and was able to do Cat in the Hat, ET, Flight of the Hippogriph, Pteranodon's flight and Woody Woodpecker's coaster - but these all have height restrictions.

There are a few play areas to check out - seuss area and popeye's play area, and Feivel's play land and Curious George. There are a couple shows such as the animal actors and Barney show, and that is about it.

It is not very baby/child friendly. You can fill a day though with the shows and play areas.

The only really safe ones I know of are Disaster (Although it may be too loud/scary for little ones) and the Hogwarts Express. Spinners like one fish and Kodos & Kang perhaps, also.
Shows like a day at the park with Barney and a few others are good too.

As others have mentioned, it is NOT baby friendly. Most rides have a No hand held infants rule except the shows, the playgrounds and some of the rides mentioned

Some of those rides you mentioned like Disaster and Fish do not allow lap sitting. The child must be able to sit and fully support itself.
