Baby Items question....

This will be our first time flying to Disney - and we'll have an 11 month old - he will not have his own seat on the plane, so my question is - I know I can bring a diaper bag for him & it not be counted toward my own luggage maximum but if I bring jarred baby food for him - is that allowed? where? how much? weight limit on a carryon if I were to put it in diaper bag? Anyone has any experience with this? Any other tips might I consider? TIA I may do a delivery grocer if that would be more convenient.....

I would pack most of it in your checked luggage inside heavy duty ziploc bags. Just take what you need on the actual flight with you. By 11 months he will probably be eating lots of table food too. I would not worry about it yet. They also sell it at the baby centers in the parks and the prices were not too bad actually.

I would also invest in a seat on the plane if possible. It is much safer and much easier. IMO

If the infant fare is refundable you can check to see if the plane has empty seats and then get refunded.

most of the time they will only let you take enought food for the flight in carry on, my daughter is 9months now we are going to disney next month I dont plan to bring her any baby food as she will not eat it, she will only eat "big people food" I will be bringing things like gerber puffs and the gerber freeze dried fruit
and maybe some gram crackers and then she will share all my meals. most likely you will have to wait til close to your trip and decide how your child is eating by then.
