We are planning a DL trip again this christmas. It'll be our 4th. This time though we will have a 2 1/2- 3 month old baby. The youngest we've had was 1 1/2 year old. There was of course rides the 1 1/2 couldn't go on but lots they could with me. How will it be with a baby? All the rides that don't have a height limit can I bring the baby on? Say like the peter pan ride, would they allow me to hold the baby? Or on a carsouel? Or the Toy story ride? You get the idea. I just want to know how limited I will be. With it being so busy at christmas it would take forever to switch off.

According to my sis who takes her nb a couple times a month, anything without a height requirement is fine. She uses an Ergo carrier.

DL also has baby swap passes for rides with a height requirement.

You'll not have any problems with any rides that do not have a height requirement.
We loved taking our children when they were small. Caused us to slow down and enjoy the park rather than rush through and miss it's beauty.

I think it'd be easier than taking a 1 year old who still isn't tall enough for "those rides" ~ it'll be cooler so I'd suggest "wearing" your little one by using a sling carrier, if it was your 1st baby I might worry for you, but I'm sure you'll be fine.

I would recommend not taking a baby on TSMM. You can, of course, but it's fairly jerky and really freaked out my baby when she was 8 months. I was wearing her in a Mei Tai carrier and still felt it was a little too rough for a baby. She did fine on POTC and Buzz.

We went in November when out youngest was about 6 months old. He went on everything that didnt have a height requirement and loved it. Have a great trip!

It has been a while but we went with a 2 month old. As others have said the slings or carriers are nice (I would almost say essential). I put my little one in a front carrier (baby bjorn) and managed to see and do quite a bit. Have fun! :thumbsup2

Thank you everyone! I plan to bring my Bjorn or/and a maya wrap. I'm very relieved to hear I can just go on the rides "wearing" the baby. I was worried they would make me take him/her out.
I also agree it will be nicer to slow down. Our first 2 times going we had a 1 1/2 yr old that was still nursing, so it made us sit. This last time I felt more pressure to be scheduled and get the most done. I don't think i enjoyed it as much :( I look forward to having to sit and nurse and rest!

Some CMs may say something about turning the baby to an outward facing position, but that'll just depend on who is working. The one time I had an issue, DD was sleeping facing in on Winnie the Pooh and the CM let it go since she was asleep.
