Are any of the rides at any of the parks friendly enough for a 4 month old to ride? I've never paid close attention to the kid rides before this trip?

yes! Lots and lots of rides are fine for babys.

Any of the dark rides where you ride in a car and look at things, like Pooh bear, Peter Pan, snow white, its a small world, maybe even Pirates if you worked your way up to it to see how baby copes, Haunted Mansion.

At Epcot I would say most of the Futre World rides would be fine, Spaceship Earth, The Land, the Living Seas, probably Imagination (can get a bit loud), maybe not Maelstrom because of the drop but I would treat it similarly to Pirates,

MGM, should be fine on the Great Movie Ride, all the shows, 3-d films, backlot tour etc

Animal Kingdom - Safari is ok but a bit bumpy, not sure about the other rides because we haven't done many.

There will be others that are fine, these are just off the top of my head.

I believe this is one of the best things about Disney (as opposed to other theme parks). There are many rides at all the parks that babies can enjoy. We were recently at Six Flags in Kentucky for an employee picnic & was shocked at how few rides my daughter (7 months at the time) could ride. The only thing she could ride was the carousel. We had to sneak her on it, though, due to their strict rules. I think I'm going off on a tangent here, but they would not let her on any rides since she did not have shoes on!!! (She was 7 months old & it was 95 degrees)--and no, they would NOT let her on with socks! Oh well, just another reason to head to WDW!!!

They can ride anything that does not have a minimum height requirement, which is quite a lot.

One tip: you probably will want to use a sling or snugli on most rides. It can be tricky climbing in and out of the ride vehicles, these make it possible to keep a good grip on baby with only one hand. I like slings better for rides, as sometimes a safety bar (on Peter Pan, for ex.) will have trouble locking down if a baby is strapped directly in front of you.
