baby food

ok, so my ds is 8 months and eating 3rd foods. but not a whole bottle of food. usually, i do half of a dinner and half of a fruit. At disney i figure for lunch he'll just get a whole bottle of fruit and for dinner a whole bottle of a dinner. but how do i heat up the dinner? will the restaraunt heat it up for me if we are eating during his feeding time. if we aren't in a restaraunt during his feeding time then what do i do? does the baby centers have microwaves? I just don't want to walk around with opened baby food and have to worry about cooling them. So, any info or suggestions would be great! THanks!

I've never warmed up my kids baby food unless it was in the fridge. Your baby should be old enough to eat some off your plate too if you do the buffets at all, like the fruits or soft meats, that may help reduce the amount of food you have to take.

I would start now getting him used to room tempbaby food. if you are going soon, the temps are warm enough that the food will be pretty warm straight from the jar anyway. I started out with room temps with DS just for that reason and did the same with DB. I would stick to your regular feeding plan and just toss what you do not feed him. We did very few 3rd foods as neither boy cared for them. I would however caution feeding him new food off your plate if you have not introduced them before. Both DS and DB (our almost grandbaby-long story) reacted strongly to new food that we discovered they were allergic to. Would hate to do that at WDW!!! Good luck.

I always gave my food to them room temperature as well. But if you feel you need to warm it up just ask for a cup of hot water when you sit down. Plop the jar in the water and it will be warm in a minute or so.

thank you for all your suggestions. I guess, if the food hasn't been refrigerated, there is no need to heat it up...duh!!

Just to let you know there are microwaves in the baby centre and you could stop in to heat it up before taking it to the restaurant with you.
