Oh dear. I was totally going to jump on here and suggest to you but...red hair and BROWN eyes? That is a very special and rare combo. We have several red haired dolls as both DD and I are redheads. She has a Felicity AG doll and a Baby Chrissie from when I was little (actually...Chrissie might have brown eyes..) Then she is getting this doll http://www.maplelea.com/product_info.php?cPath=43&products_id=30 from Santa this year as it looks very much like her, the only real difference is she has blue eyes and the doll has green. She is also getting a red headed Moxie Snow doll (Kellan) but I don't know what color her eyes are and she is Barbie sized not a baby doll. Have you looked at My American Girl dolls? Seems like they had a redhead/brown eyed doll at one point.
Ah, they do! One has light red hair and the other has auburn hair. They aren't "baby" dolls, though. DD and I have done much wailing and gnashing of teeth over the fact that AG doesn't do redheaded bitty twins!
Playing with AG doll on line & chose hair color & the dolls all look blond then I chose eye color too & it dropped me down to 2 dolls to choose from - 1 with bangs & 1 without - 1 looks blond & 1 looks brunette ---even though they are supposed to both be red
Instead of doing it that way go to americangirl.com and hit shop. Then go to the sidebar and select "My American Girl" It will be in a list that contains the names of the historical dolls. Now, choose "create" or something like that. It will show you a grid-like page of all the combos they have to choose from. I think you are seeing them, though. One is "light red with brown eyes" , she is a strawberry blond. The other is "auburn with brown eyes", she is the darker red. The pictures aren't "exactly" how they look IRL. The red is more noticeable.
Engel Puppen has a few. The quality is fantastic (these are the dolls old in the German Pavillion at EPCOT). DD has one that is 10 years old this month and still in fabulous shape with lots of playing; it is the same size as an AG doll. They are a bit pricier than AG but close. The website is totally in German though
I hope you can find something you like somewhere.
Good luck.
