Baby clothes in December

I am trying to decide if I should buy shorts etc for DS forthcoming trip in December. The thing is I wont be able to buy shorts in the UK in November so will have to buy over the next few months - just guessing what size he will be! DH has told me to get a few things and buy the rest in Orlando - will I be able to get shorts there in December?

Probably, but it may well be too cold to wear them. It can be very cold in December.

Thanks Gill - on previous December trips we have always managed to wear shorts a few days! I have always been too busy shopping for myself to take note of what baby clothes are available!

When we went in Oct last year, my DS needed some T-shirts and would you believe,even though it was nearly 90 outside, places like Osh Kosh, Gap, Carters etc all had their "winter stock" in - jumpers, fleeces, flannel shirts! No Ts or shorts! I really struggled to find him stuff. What Im doing this year is buying up stuff in the Next Sale (end of July ) and getting the baby some things in the right size (you can usually pick up 2 packs of shorts for £3 and Ts for £1.50. That way, if its too cold for him to wear them, I will still be able to sell them on ebay probably for a profit!

Thanks Allie- I have bought a few bits and pieces for him already but will maybe hold off until the sales too!
