Are there televisions in the baby care centres?

Just wondering if my toddler can watch tv while I breastfeed the baby.

Yes.
There are ones at the MK, EPCOT, and AK. I don't know about MGM. They all play Disney cartoons/movies.

There is no TV at the MGM Baby Care Center. The one at MGM is pretty minimal as far as services go.

Thanks!

Seems odd that they would have tvs at 3/4 parks.

Yes in all... however. From what I recall the nursing room is in a seperate room from the toddler toyish area putting nursing moms in poorly lit rooms behind a closed door allowing for nursing mom only... which isnt an issue unless you are traveling without another adult to watch your toddler while you nurse

personally I enjoyed nursing on attractions like Tomorrow Land transit or the train... I would rather people watch and see Disney World than the inside of a themed nursing room =)

Hmm okay.

My 3 year old will be just under 40" when we are there so will just miss out on some of the bigger rides. I thought perhaps he could watch some tv and have some quiet time while I nurse the baby than DH could go ride some of the bigger attractions. I guess it won't work unless I nurse in the toddler area.

At the AK and MGM baby care centers, the nursing rooms are private, so you could bring your 3 yo in there with you (maybe throw some stickers or toys in your diaper bag?).

I don't know what your comfort level is with nursing in public (I find WDW to be friendly to nursing in public), but the toddler areas at Epcot and AK are seperate rooms that others don't walk through. The MK toddler area is pretty much the center of the BCC. And, of course, MGM has no toddler area.

Another poster mentioned the WEDway People Mover at MK as a good place to nurse. I second that! You will have no problem riding it as long as you need.

Try the Hall of Presidents or Carousel of Progress for nursing too. It is dark or semi-dark and you get to watch the show while the baby nurses.

I love those two rides! They offer so much... long shows, a/c or heating (depending upon when you're there), a great place to nap, your feet get a rest, etc.

The AK baby center was a God send on a July trip. We were not used to the humidity and we (the parents) thought we would colapse! The A/C room with all the amenities we could need for our DD at our fingertips!! We were in heaven. We really hated leaving!

As long as the weather is nice I would nurse at one of the playgrounds and let DH go ride the big rides... far more fun than watching a movie... I also love the idea of nursing in a sling while walking or waiting in line. You deserve to ride the big people rides too not just DH

and I saw a TV at MGM... my kid started watching it on our last day... I recall wanting him to leave but in my head I cannot see where the TV was... I wanna say it was in a cabnet or something... not in a convienant expected place
