Babies R Us - Mystery Shop

Woo Hoo.
I got a call Friday from Roper NOP.
I had signed up a while ago online with
them to do mystery shops. They
asked me to do a shop for Babies R
Us on Saturday. I did it. They are
paying me $16 for the shop. I thought
that was pretty decent.

The only thing was... I felt guilty for
lying. The shop was to go in and act
like I was pregnant and set up a baby
registry and also buy something. I felt
bad answering questions I knew were
false. I know this is probably silly,
but the lady was so nice in congratulating
me that it made me feel bad. I guess I
will have to erase that from my mind and
just think of the mickey and minnie bars
that $16 will buy.

Just a friendly reminder, your mystery shopping assignments have confidentiality agreements. I would be careful posting in public forums regarding which retailers use which mystery shopping companies.

Don't feel bad. You just happened to get a nice person. How many times do we need costumer service in a store and get a completely rude and ignorant person. I get them more then I get the nice ones. Mystery shopping helps weed out those nasty ones that have no place dealing with the public.
