How do you take your baby on a ride? just on your lap or in a baby carrier?

Your lap! I wouldn't think carriers would be allowed anyway plus a hassle

We took DS when he was 3 months old on Peter Pan, IASW, Spaceship Earth, Peoplemover and Pooh's honeypots and he sat on our lap. I had him in the carrier while on line.

We took DD when she was 5 months and 2 years old.

When she was 5 months I took her on all the rides in her Baby Bjorn. She was in the front carrier, facing out, and it worked out perfect. I did this on every single ride we went on that did not have a height restriction and those cases we did a baby swap. Having my hands free to get on the rides during loading and unloading (especially on moving rides like Peter Pan, Pooh, and HM) made me feel so much more secure for both of our safety.

When she was 2 she sat on our laps and sometimes sat next to us. She was able to do much more on her own so the circumstances were a bit different than traveling with an infant.

WE put DD @ 3 monthes on our lap and in our Baby Bjorn carrier.

The first time we took DD to Disney, she was 6 months old (she is now 2). We took her on plenty of rides! We have an Ergo front/back carrier.....sometimes I wore her on the front, and sometimes I just held her. It worked for us!

We held our sweet 13 month old on our lap. He loved winnie the pooh and small world. :) He even liked the Safari ride in AK and most of the rides at Epcot (the ones he was allowed on, of course). He was a little afraid in Imagination when figment "blasted" us with air but only for a second.
