husband and I will be taking our baby in April- she'll be 7 months old then. Neither of us have been to Disney in ages. Can we take the baby on some rides? Is there a place where you put your stroller when you're in line? I'm just trying to picture how this works.....can I sit on a ride with her in a baby carrier? Thanks!

Many rides are baby friendly - with the obvious exceptions.

Stroller parking is well marked and hard to miss - there are many all together in several spots around each park.

You can walk onto many rides with baby in a carrier (or asleep or attached to the boob for that matter)

You should look at rides online and map out which ones you're comfortable riding. I often left my DD in her Ergo and we would walk on

We took our 8 month old son on a ton of rides when we were there in 2014...including Pirates of the Caribbean (although he didn't really appreciate that much, lol). He loved Winnie the Pooh, Small World, Nemo, Buzz Ride, and Toy Story Mania. I had to laugh because on the buzz ride they have that little driver thing to make the car go around in a circle, anyways my hubby let him hold the lever thing and showed him if he pulled it the car circled around...I think my hubby was so dizzy by the time he got off that ride, LOL...My kid had no idea what he was doing but he was having fun sitting on daddy's lab playing with that lever thing, lol

MK is awesome for babies! There are tons of rides you can do with babies like previous posters have mentioned. When we took my daughter at 5 months, she wasn't scared of anything (Except for the great movie ride at Hollywood Studio, the gun shots really freaked her out and she cried the whole ride) but when we brought her again at 2 years old, she was scared of everything dark, lol. So enjoy the rides when they're so little to understand!! Haunted Mansion is another one that's great for that age!

Haunted mansion is my favorite! I'm glad I can take her on that one
With most of the baby friendly rides, will my husband and I both fit with her, or will one of us have to ride separate?

We usually used the ergo with her so yes we always sat together (my husband and I, plus her, on one of us) even the rides where we just held her, because she was in our lap all three of us could sit together.

Just to let you know, when you leave your stroller, it more than likely will be moved. Disney has Cast Members placed at many parking areas rearranging the strollers so they are not blocking the walkways and such. It's kind of scary to walk out knowing where you left your stroller and find it in a completely different place!

It helps to do something to your stroller to make it stand out.

My trick on our 3 stays was to cover the handles in caution tape. Super easy to find in a sea of identical rental City Minis!!!

we use to tie a balloon to my eldest sons stroller when he was at the age. My youngest (he's 2 now) and we figured on our last trip to Disney that he's a bolter! After he almost fell down some stairs we went to guest services and they gave us a pass to take the stroller everywhere...made our trip so much easier! Hopefully on our next trip we are past that stage and don't bolt off anymore...we will probably do the same trick with the balloon on the stroller to make it stand out more.

The People Mover was wonderful for getting DS to nap a while!
We were there when it wasn't packed so the CM's let us stay on as long as we wanted.
Around and around we went, with DS napping contentedly on my shoulder *sigh*.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I was told our baby had to sit on the seat next to us, not be on our laps. I remember this especially on It's a small World and Dumbo. (The seat on Dumbo was really hot and I was concerned because baby's legs were bare.) But, she could go on a lot of rides, especially in Fantasyland.

yeah no this is correct only on rides that have lap bars or restraints from what I can tell

My daughter was 4 months old when we went last and I wore her in a mei tai on all the rides we went on. Even on TSMM. I just lifted her butt up a little to pull the restraint down then rested her on top of it (with her in the carrier).

Ditto all of this. Wearing the baby is so easy, and of the three carriers I took, the Mei Tai worked the best. We rode pretty much everything except the coasters that way.
