Hi all,

I am visiting DLRP for the first time in May with my husband, 5 yr old daughter, 3 yr old son and baby son (will be 11 months in May).

I am hoping by May that my youngest will be ok with a lot of foods but guess that I will need to be giving him baby foods. I currently cook my own food but will have to resort to jars for the duration of our stay.

We are staying at the Sequoia Lodge in a Montana room - is there a fridge in the room? I could bring some homemade food if there was a fridge to keep them in but I'm guessing I will need to take jars.

Can you buy baby food within the park?

Thanks

Sue

Hi Sue and :welcome: to Disboards

The parks have a very limited stock of jars - maybe more puree and not suitable for 11 month old.

There is a huge supermarket 1 stop away on the train which you could stock up but I am not sure you would get the same brands your little one would like.

There is microwaves in the counter service eating place to heat the food but I am not sure about the fridge - it would be a mini bar if anything I think

When we travelled with the kids when they were little I just took plenty of finger foods they liked and bought fruit etc. We did resort to jars and they didnt seem to mind :goodvibes

Hope this helps
