BA Holidays - Disney reference number for Swan Hotel

It's been 5 years since I last did a trip to Disney. I used to book direct with the Disney website (which made everything easy peasy in terms of getting Disney reference numbers to link in with the App) but this time I booked the Dolphin using BA Holidays because the deal worked for me. Unfortunately I am struggling to get a Disney reference number for the booking - have tried twice so far with no joy.

Has anyone else had experience of this with BA Holidays? Are there any special words that I need to use with the call centre because when I've talked through the issue it doesn't seem to register and it looks like I need the reference if I want to get Lightning Lanes (which is another wholly new thing for me that I'm trying to get the hang of).

Any help very gratefully appreciated.

When did you book? I have no idea about BA Holidays, but I do know when booking through Bonvoy website (those are Marriott run hotels) that it can take up to 24 hours for the reservation number to link with Disney.

If it has been over 48 hours, then I would call or chat online. Good luck!

I did not use BA holidays but booked with WestJet Vacations. WJ Vacations gave me a confirmation number (after 3 days) from The Swan which didn’t work. I used the MDE online chat feature and had all my info linked in less than 5 min!
I did expressly state to my travel agent I needed the MDE number to book dining etc. That number was wrong but through chat he used it to find me and create the Disney number.

Is this different to the hotel confirmation reference? I've not booked a Disney trip through BA before but I have booked other holidays and you can find the hotel's reference number on your accommodation voucher which you can get through the link on your confirmation email or through Manage My Booking.

I would try that number on the chat. It took 3 days to get that number for me. That is the one chat used to put me on MDE. I now have a confirmation (from hotel through WJ vacations) and a Disney confirmation number they created from the other. Hope that makes sense. All done on chat quickly. He did confirm things like dates, travel party etc. on chat.

It takes a few days for confirmation numbers to generate I'd recommend in asking British Airways to help you retrieve cormfirnation number for Disney World swan/dolphin hotel. If British Airways unable to retrieve it you can always ring Disney swan/dolphin hotel on (407) 934-3000
