BA food

2Tiggies a whole row to yourself. How fabulous! How long till you take your one way flights and stay for good? :)

Oh it was awesome. Traveling with no kids and no luggage is a completely different experience :D

This was my last preparatory trip before the wedding. I'm out of my house now, just given my notice at work and we are heading out late spring/first week of June. Exciting times :)

As others have mentioned, the food in economy is just as bad as other airlines.

My tip would be to avoid the chicken, my gf had food poisoning after eating it on the way back from Orlando when we flew with BA in 2012!

We found the food ok, hardly gourmet but then you get what you pay for I guess!

The only issue we had was as we about half way back they ran out of chicken so we had a choice of cottage pie or cottage pie! Lol

As for the films, was very impressed!! Majority of the films had just finished at the cinema, so very current

hi, thanks, good news on the films as i tend to watch 3 or 4 during the flight.

Thank you, Cal, and you're welcome. It was an amazing week. Short, but fantastic :) Hope all goes well with the rest of your planning, and with your flights. I actually had good service from BA this time round.

Flew BA yesterday (to US but not MCO). Got breakfast but flight was late so this was served at noon! Omelette was okay, DH had the "mixed grill" which was decidedly questionable. Also got juice (didn't try it), fruit (6 chunks...!), an utterly flavourless yogurt and the standard bread roll. Oh and a pastry which was...damp. Later got a sandwich - was given chicken but asked for an alternative so got cheese which was actually very good. DH decided the chicken sandwich was too questionable so left it. Also got the world's smallest kitkat - always good. Overall - bog standard airline food. Nothing to write home about but fine.

hi kath2003 sorry your flight was delayed, food didn't sound to good. hope you have a lovely hol look forward to reading all about it

cal :)
