B2B with family joining us for second cruise

Would we meet them in the terminal or could we?
If they arrive before you reboard, yes. You can't leave the terminal, unless you want to wait until the "new" cruisers are allowed into the terminal.

Typically, B2B people board just before Concierge (around 11:15). But could be sooner. But you don't have to board with the B2B people, you could just wait in the terminal to board with your friends. They can't board with you in the B2B group, if they are there in time for that.

What if my cabin has new people?
The new people are not allowed into the terminal until it opens. They will get their own boarding number at check in. If you want to board with the new people in your room, you'll have to wait until their boarding number is called.

But I can board without them? That's what I was wondering
When boarding begins (around 11:15) first to board is the Family of the day. Then the B2B people. You can board then ("you" whoever's in your groups that's B2B) Then Concierge. They they start announcing boarding numbers. You can wait until their boarding number is announced, if you wish to board with them.

The last 4 times that we have gone concierge we have boarded before the Family of the Day. On our B2B last year for the 2nd half we were back on the ship by 10AM. Either way we have been well before the FotD

Yes you certainly can, and I would honestly do it. We did joined my in-laws who were doing a B2B. They were on the ship waiting for us.
I would honestly reboard as soon as possible (go to Cove cafe for free coffee, tea, etc until 11am). Then meet them when their name is called announcing them to the ship.

@Floridatinaherb has it right. B2B should under almost all circumstances have first boarding. They often are seated in concierge, so they try and get them boarded before the terminal opens.

What is the family of the day?
DCL picks some family to board the ship first, just like they do at the parks. I don't recall if you get anything special for it. I would think the certificate, and that's about it, but I'm sure there are some threads about it.
