I've searched the forums, but haven't found the exact answer I'm looking for, but here's the scenario...

Friends of ours are currently silver status and are scheduled for a 4 night Bahamian cruise in September which, when completed, will earn them gold status. They are also considering scheduling a 2nd cruise immediately afterwards for back-to-back cruises, but aren't sure if they will be considered Gold level when they get back on board the 2nd of the 2 cruises. Has anyone experienced this scenario or have information indicating how quickly the status is updated following a cruise?

They will be Gold status for the 2nd cruise, they will receive the Gold CC gift. However they will not get to take advantage of earlier activitiy booking based on Gold status - but I guess with a Sept. 2021 cruise that won't matter anyway. (Unless you mean Sept. 2022.)

Yes, they will turn gold when they step off the first cruise. When they start the next one they should get a gold lanyard.

Exactly…they knew they wouldn’t be able to book early unless they were already gold as they’re joining us on the Wish in Sep ‘22 and would be able to book in the gold window. The question was really more about whether they would be considered gold coming on board the 2nd of the 2 cruises…so I appreciate the feedback.
